Burleson is the far south-western corner of our service area and it is worth the drive because the work down there tends to be substantial rather than small. The city is primarily in Johnson County, with a portion in Tarrant County at the northern end, which means county-level questions have to be asked twice depending on where the parcel sits.

Old Town Burleson around Wilson Street is the historic core: small early-twentieth-century houses on deep lots, brick commercial buildings, and a preservation-minded downtown that has been steadily reinvested in. Behind and around it, the city has grown hard since the 1990s, filling in with subdivision after subdivision along Alsbury Boulevard and out toward Hidden Creek. Beyond the built edge it turns rural quickly — acreage, horse property, metal buildings, long gravel drives and septic systems, which is a category of work we see far less of closer to Arlington.

I-20 west to I-35W south is the standard run and it is forty to forty-five minutes from the yard depending on the hour. For anything on the eastern side, US-287 south-west and then FM-1187 west through Rendon and Crowley is often the better line and avoids the interchange entirely. Before we book, the rural questions matter more than usual: how long the drive is, whether it is gravel, dirt or concrete, how wet it has been, whether there are gates and how wide, whether a septic system sits near the route, and what is going in the box — barn demolition, brush, concrete and household clearance all size differently.

Permits, streets and placement in Burleson

On a private driveway in Burleson we have not found a permit requirement — Arlington's own homeowner permit guide lists roofing, solar and fences and never mentions containers.
